Description

When you break leather in and it mixes with the moisture from the ground and your feet, it becomes conductive. This allows the Earth's electrons to flow through to your feet. Most moccasins have a synthetic insole, which prevents this transfer from occurring. These women's genuine leather moccasins feature no synthetic materials, only two layers of leather in the soles. Therefore, they are conductive and make the perfect, most comfortable shoes for grounding when walking on the Earth's surface. We hope you take the time to read our blog featuring these earthing moccasins, "Welcome to Earthing".

These ladies' authentic grounding moccasins, in particular, feature an incredibly thick, durable, and rugged oil-tan Chromexcel sole, which makes them more durable than most soft-soled moccasins. They have been explicitly custom-manufactured for women who wish to practice Earthing and receive genuine leather moccasins that will last a long time. These ladies' soft sole moccasins come in a maple brown or black colour. The interior is made of suede, and the soles are a dark brown. They are Canadian, handmade / sewn, and the vamp is hand-stitched.

We carry women's sizes 5-10. We recommend ordering one full size down from your regular shoe size. If you wear a half size, order down a size and a half. (Size 8 order size 7. Size 8 ½ order size 7) Please note that soft sole moccasins that have been misused outdoors (worn on rough surfaces such as concrete and cement) cannot be returned. Please preserve your moccasins by avoiding these types of surfaces.

Moose Hide & Stitching Change

Moose is a wild animal, so therefore incurs wounds and scarring during its lifetime. These scars and marks can show up in the leather as what may appear to be imperfections, but in fact are unique to each pair of moccasins. They are part of the animal's story-line.

All the new Bastien moccasins come with one stitch at the sole. Bastien Industries is now using MEC-Val machines from Italy, which make simple lockstitch seams. So, even if one stitch breaks, the next is tied with a knot.
