Sleep It Off
Sleep gives the body a break from all the mental, physical, and emotional demands of the day. It replenishes our energy, lowers our heart rate and blood pressure, promotes healing, and strengthens natural immunity.
According to Statistics Canada, one in three Canadians between the ages of 35 - 64 report not getting enough sleep. While this can be due to distractions like staying up late on our devices or watching TV, ironically, some of the issues keeping us awake are the very things that sleep helps to repair: stress, inflammation, chronic pain, hormonal fluctuations, and more.
A grounded sleep can help.

A grounded mattress pad is an excellent way to incorporate grounding techniques into daily life, for a better sleep and beyond. It simply fits over your mattress, on top of your bed sheets and plugs into a grounded outlet. If used camping or outdoors, it can be plugged directly into the ground.

CARE:
1. Wash in cold water on gentle cycle or by hand. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on cool only. Do not iron.
2. Silver threading has powerful anti-microbial properties that naturally kill germs, viruses, and bacteria, so frequent washing is not required.

For scientific data on the positive effects of grounding on the human body, we recommend the following report: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4378297/
Sweet dreams!
Please Note: Over time, after many washes, the silver threads may become worn and less conductive. To confirm your grounding mattress pad is working as it should, you may wish to purchase a Grounding Continuity Tester to check its conductivity from time to time. Before plugging in the pad, simply connect the Tester’s cord to a grounded outlet, place the tester directly on the pad, and press the button. A green light indicates the mattress pad is fully conductive.

In response to Brenda: For best results, you should sleep directly on the pad since the silver thread is the part that is conductive. It is possible to experience some grounding if you place a thin sheet over top, especially the longer you are laying, however it is best to be in direct contact. The sleep pad (not plush) is different in that the entire surface is conductive, therefore this option would be better if you plan on putting it under a fitted sheet. Hi – I just ordered this and then I read this article and now I am confused. In the use and care section of this product, it said to use this under a bed sheet, and this is how I want to use it so that it doesn’t have to be washed as often, and also because I like the way my sheets feel on my skin, and I can’t be sure how this mat will feel on my skin. But this article is stating that this mat should be slept on directly, without a sheet. Please clarify. Thanks!
In response to Marcella: Yes, you should plug it directly into the wall outlet. If you do try and use an extension cord, be sure to use the continuity tester and check if you are grounded or not.
does the grounding chord need to go directly to the wall outlet or can a extension chord or multi plug adapter be use to reach the outlet? I have a feeling it needs to go directly into the wall but dont see any mention of it except for in the dog pad product.
